About Me

My name is Laurin and I live in Cleveland, Ohio. In the past year, I've graduated college with my bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, started my first real job, got engaged, moved out on my own in a new city, and (most recently) became the wife of the most wonderful man in the world! What a year it's been!

In the midst of becoming a full-time career woman and wife, it's been easy for me to lose track of myself and get caught up in the day to day activities of attending meetings, hitting deadlines, and running errands. The purpose of this blog is to serve as a constant reminder that you are more than your title at work, and that you owe it to yourself and to your family to live life to the fullest each day. Whether that is in the form of remembering to say a quick prayer of thanksgiving for all of the wonderful gifts we've been given, volunteering for charity work when you know your schedule is overloaded, or even getting a quick manicure in neon pink just because it makes you smile - even the smallest things are necessities to staying true to ourselves and to living this life one fulfilling moment at a time!
